This particular cabochon gave me some problems because of the shape. That and I'm working on a new machine. Each wheel takes getting used to, but I think I'm there now, and the rock is finished and awaiting the final OK.

Custom Orders
Just a quick post for the weekend. This is a custom order of a marquis cut Lapis Lazuli that I finished yesterday. Despite what you might think, working with softer materials is not easier than the really hard stuff. When you make a mistake with soft rocks, it's more likely you won't be able to fix it.
This particular cabochon gave me some problems because of the shape. That and I'm working on a new machine. Each wheel takes getting used to, but I think I'm there now, and the rock is finished and awaiting the final OK.
